You can approach Bletterbach from Auer or Neumarkt, then continue via Montan to Aldein, and turn right after the village, in the direction Lerch, to reach the car park near the Visitor Centre below the Alpine hut Lahner. The best way to explore the gorge is on the Geo Path. This begins directly by the car park and follows a circular route through the gorge and across the Alpine hut Lahner back to the car park.

It is also possible for children, older people and the disabled to make a small tour, starting from the Visitor Centre, on the Forest Educational Path.

You can also reach the Bletterbach gorge by travelling to Radein via Kaltenbrunn. You can park in Oberradein near the Geo Museum. Then make the descent into the Bletterbach on Footpath Nr. 3.
