Bolzano quartz porphyry and Gardena

Visitor Centre- Bletterbach gorge- Visitor

The guided tour will start at the Visitor Centre Geoparc Bletterbach at Aldein, where the group members will gain an insight into the origin of the various geological strata of the Bletterbach gorge. After the museum visit you will descend to the lower valley, where you will see the Bolzano quartz porphyry and the Gardena sandstone. At the waterfall (Butterloch) we will leave the stream bed and return to the Visitor Centre.
